		<description>Thanks for the tutorial; it was really well written and illustrated and very helpful. I was thinking of buying a noise-reduction plugin, but I think I&#039;ll give this technique a chance first.

I&#039;m noticing that when I apply noise reduction in Lightroom, though, the effect only seems to appear when I&#039;m zoomed in to 1:1. If I&#039;m looking at the whole image, I see no change--I can literally push the sliders all the way to the right and not notice a single change in the zoomed out photo! 

Does that sound right? It seems annoying that I can&#039;t preview the effect of the noise reduction on the whole image...
